Up to 16 KPL-7 Keypads can be connected in a "daisy-chain" to the RS-485 port using two twisted pairs of catagory-5 cable (one pair for communication and the other for 12vdc power). 16 KPL-7 Keypads can be created and downloaded to the KPL-7 by the user/installer using the CS30/308 or CS48 controllers and the Event Manager software or the JDS panel.
The KPL-7 fits into a standard single-gang box (not included).
