A GFCI receptacle is different from conventional receptacles. In the event of a ground fault, a GFCI will trip and quickly stop the flow of electricity to prevent serious injury. It can even protect other receptacles in the circuit, depending on placement. A GFCI receptacle does not protect against circuit overloads, short circuits, or shocks.
If you have two or more outlets together on your wall, you'll appreciate the flawless multigang wallplates. With no dividers or frames between devices, you're left only with the smooth, clean lines of your Acenti controls. Acenti's finely engineered Tox® joining method offers both surface alignment and behind-the-plate integrity, for a true and flawless installation every time.
This Acenti GFCI receptacle is also available in a 20-amp version. Three-outlet and surge-suppressing outlets are also available. For whole-house continuity, you can also replace your outdated switches and dimmers with the varied and flexible Acenti line.
The Acenti 15-Amp GCFI Duplex Receptacle is available in Natural, Driftwood, Onyx, Slate, Quartz, Sand, and Alabaster (shown). |
