Allows M1 or M1G to be connected to the Internet or LAN (network) for programming, monitoring, remote control, email notifications, etc. Requires permanent broadband connection; Cable Modem, DSL, T1,etc.

Ethernet network using TCP/IP protocol. This connection can be used for remote control and programming of the system, as well as flash memory firmware updates.

The ELK-M1XEP features Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) compliant encryption algorithms and a secure embedded web server with a user interface built on a Java applet. The Java applet gives the user a portable means of controlling the system remotely, allowing system arming/disarming, checking of zone status, control of lighting, thermostats, and outputs, activation of tasks, etc. It also supports email notification. Up to 16 email addresses with messages can be programmed for notification based on events, such as system arming/disarming, user access, alarm conditions, etc.
