By offering this product with an external antenna and a state of the art receiver, users are achieving impressive ranges with ordinary X10 transmitters like key chain remotes, motion sensors and palmpad remotes.
An internal 310 Mhz receiver detects incoming RF signals generated by a Palm Pad, Keychain Remote, HawkEye or other X10 RF device. These signals are filtered by a user defined list of allowed house & unit codes. The enabled signals are sent to a TW523 or PSC05 power line interface module (NOT included).
The list of allowed house & unit codes is easily modified by the user.
Load the V572 configuration program.
Connect the V572 to a serial port on your PC.
Select the desire house/unit code combinations that you wish to use.
Click on the Load button and the configuration information is down loaded into your V572.
This information is stored in stored in memory, so it will not be lost during a power interruption. |
